I appreciate your candor…and will continue to support you. It is my hope that you will be as frank, candid, and deliberate as a, “firebrand” as you were as Minority Leader…I have gained a serious disrecpect for those who throw stones while occupying glass houses, ye sthis is a direct slam on those who said we should forgive Randy White - body paint and all, yet chastise you for what you have been through…As Ms. Stewart said, you are truly an asset to Kanawha County and the State of West Virginia…

I’ll add to the comments you’ve already received about not running for GOP
leader, but thank you for being so candid and honest. It’s beyond refreshing,
and has helped me quickly learn about Kanawha County politics, since tomorrow
will be my first vote in my new county. Please continue to be the firebrand and
Devil’s advocate - somebody has to do it!

Vic we will surely miss you. I really like folks who have all of their scars on the front. One of my concerns in running for the State Legislature was maintaining my dignity because of the need to compromise to get some of your agenda through. After a term in the legislature most folks have been irretrievably compromised. That’s what the “Go Along with Joe” Republicans have had happen to them. Those folks are spineless. I admire a man who stands his ground, and if I should ever win a seat in the Senate, I’d be proud to vote you for leader (Majority I hope). As it is I had to set this one out because of my wife’s health….but I may be back next cycle. I’m sure we’d both like to get Jeff Kessler out of there.

Good that you plan to be more hard-hitting and in your face. That is what we need. The Legislature is “do-gooder” and “get-me-re-elected” oriented. Get back to basics and let’s try to give the people of this state some real reform and results for their tax dollars.
