Congrats on 5000 posts. I also read your blog almost everyday, and there are very few days when we agree. I read your blog because I do like to get my blood flowing early in the morning. On the times we do agree I must go back and check to see if I am reading the right place.

Keep on fighting. It is good to see the struggle taking place even when you are wrong so very often-lol. It makes all of us stay on our toes.

Vic - wow, I didn’t realize you’ve been writing this blog for so long. Taht is awesome! Congrats!

You don’t often write about personal stuff, but I always enjoy it when you do, it gives us more insight into you and that’s enjoyable.

Of course, my favs are the ‘holy smokes,’ or ‘holy moley’ or the ‘Geez Louise.’ Those crack me up.

Being from Putnam County, my all time favorite is the Sleepy and Scary post where Brady Paxton said he stays in Charleston because he is afraid of dying on the trip back to Putnam County, I LOVE that post - it makes me laugh everytime I read it!

You are awesome Vic - keep up the good work!

I’m one of the “crazy libs” you point out so frequently, but I do actually enjoy your posts.

While I don’t agree with them normally, I can at least laugh at some of us in the liberal ranks. Unfortunately, our bloggers in the liberal world are often angry and hateful. Anger bores me, I struggle to read it.

I enjoy yours because at least you are humorous and sarcastic. I don’t think you take yourself too seriously, which is good, too many people who write blogs think they are IT!

So, keep up the good work, I’m sure you’ll make my blood boil soon, but that’s what makes your site interesting and entertaining.

Your blog is eminently worth reading. AND, those who post comments are adults for the most part.

I am familiar w/ another blog which allowed postings to remain even after they were shown to be written by other than the purported author. Anyone who objected was subjected to the most vicious attacks by the owner and others on the blog. I think it will not last.

Not only are your subjects timely, informative and sometimes just plain fun, but are well written. Who would have “thunk it”–and that is not crickets chirping.

The discussion following the posting is also thoughtful and informative.

Thank you for this blog. Unlike so many, yours is worthwhile on a regular basis.
