1. Republicans are the party of WASP-AND THE GOOD OLD BOYS. Only girls who wear dresses need apply. Obviously, Obama doesn’t fit in here. Wait I guess some parts of him could. Republicans can’t vote for someone that doesn’t look like them so I’m not sure if he’s white enough.

2. Republicans like to use fear.There’s lots to fear about Obama. He’s black or maybe he’s white or something in between. OK, forget it he’s black enough to make him black. Black people are scary. Muslims are too! Obama is a Muslim AND a Christian. Wow! He goes to that church with that crazy preacher who says 911 was because God was punishing the gays. Oops! That was John Hagee or was it Rod Parsley?…it was one of John McCain’s guys I know.

3. Republicans like to divide the country (you’re either for us or against us). What’s the saying? Divide and conquer. Yep, this has worked for Republicans in the past too. Dividing the country between blacks and whites and Christians and Muslims and liberal and conservative and…..

4. Even without all those strategic moves McCain can win. Everyone will want to vote for McCain because he says he doesn’t care if we are in Iraq for 100 more years…and of course because of those wonderful tax cuts for the top 1%. Everyone will want to vote for his vast foreign policy on the Sunnis or is it the Shia’s-they are so easy to confuse when you’re talking about the insurgency. I’m sure the American people will shout, “Bring him on!”

What is amazing…. The more history I read about the founding fathers more I realize that I’m not a conservative.

IT’s ALL WRONG!!! WE’VE GOT IT WRONG!

Democrats are really classic Marxists.

Rebuplican.conservatives are really just the status quo party. Where ever the political line is they say,”we need to stay here, we don’t need to do what the democrats want.” When the Dems move the line toward the marxist ideolgy they move with the line and declare “we don’t need to move, stay here”. Conservatives will never bring us to a constitutional limited government and some of their ideologies are also socialist now!!

In the 90’s the conservatives fought against gov. health care and extreme environmntal laws, etc. now they talk about it as if it is the new platform. Now they spend more than the marxists etc, etc.

What we need are CLASSIC LIBERALS from Jeffersons party! Liberty of the people from Big government.

We need limited government, less taxes, a government of the people by the people. A humble foreign policy. We don’t need to pull our government to the right or the left BUT TO THE CONSTITUTION.

WEll in response to the simplistic assumption that big giovernment is republican and small governemnt is democratic party all we have to do is look at both Bush the II and Clinton both of whose presidencies are disastors and eachof whom was for teh richest iin the world, not fro properity for all Americans.
Obama doesn’t have to grow government larger to problem solve. All he has to do is work with teh best and brightest and cross the partsian barriers, the race barriers, the gender bariers, the redneck barriers and etc etc. The constructs of polarization by issue instead of uniting for common cause have been ahrming us as a nation for years.
Barack Obama is a patriotic, able and intelligent HONEST leader who can and will get ideologies out fo the way in order to bring the ebst and brightest together to help solve the probelems the ast two adminstrations have exacerbated.
yes one of the mis big intrusive and dishonest big governemnt. but that is not the way our governemnt used to be. let’s look at Bush I for an example. he was actually a terrific president. i would say teh last one we ahvehad that was even halfway decent and honorable and honest and respectful of ordinary Americans.
the problems we have MUST be solved by our citizens using teh mechanisms of government to rrestore balance and prosperity. Each party, sect and individual ahs some values in thsi picture and the picture is of a USa with US in it.
the way things are going or great democratic experiment will fail and we will end up under the Chinese real soon.
we need to stop faulting political parties and assume responsibility for coming together as citzens who love our land, value children and see that there are many different ways to think tank promlem solutions and not only one person party or ideology ahs the answer. we worked best when ordinary poepl had the American Dream opportunity for real.
hard working people didn’t get shafted and see their jobs go abroad, manufacrturing was a vital american business. we have now so much cheating and lying going on in government and in business. cover your butt has become the primary rule for service provison, not “i’ll make my mistake right as best i can adn i am sorry>’ i am so excited that we have in opur lifetime one of athe nation’s alltime greats: a person who can help elevate the coversation adnn the process, while being honest and accountable. Hooray for Obama.
and Hooray for a rejuvenated USa wher we don’t send outr money offshore to gangsters and crooks and the top .005 percent of the world, but we invest in good government, good organizations , good communities and neighborhoods. no more cops on the rtake, that ahs to come from chnage within and HOPE that in their lifetime they will see they are risking their lives for their community and have got sufficent pay and resources HONESTLY to nake ends neet with dignity.
let’s treat ouyur returning ehroes as if we value and cherish them, not spit on them and let them suffer or have to be geniuses to figure out how ot get ehalth care and housing when ill etc.
i am sorry this is rambling a little i hope you get the oint:
our natyion is FULL of can do people with great ability in every family neighborhood city town and state community. why don’t we figure out how to chnage our ATTITUDES and out BEHAVIORS and our STUPID SPENNDING rashly (mainly about 85 5of our budget goes to the Pentagon where no on cooperates and they all fight each other for turf and ego) and build up our nation’s strength by doing the right thing for a change!
i am thrilled with Obama but i also respect McCain. Honesty and bravery come from the top and spread out. McCain is far to the right of me but he is an honest decent able brave anerican hero.
but he could work with President Obama better because he is used to war but Obama has the know-how to build peace and security and prosperity at home and abroad.i think Obama is our Churchill.Our Mandela. Oure Washington and Lincoln of this century . i hope to God we give him and ourselves a chance to bring back the wonderful American experience.

The three MAINSTREAM candidates are a joke. ALL of them. And if any of them wins we are in seriously bad trouble. Well, we already are. I can’t believe this is all there is. This presidential campaign is embarassing as an American. It looks like a three ring circus of lets see who can tell the most lies and cover them up the best. Leave it to WV to want a loser.

In case anyone gives a rats a**, Ron Paul has NOT quit the campaign and is now waiting for these stooges to all hang themselves…

Thank you again for information that is helping change WV! With you as the putative head of the WV GOP, we should start celebrating already! State Republicans candidates are so strong, they are locks to win in WV in ‘08, so it’s important to turn our attention to Barack Saddam Obama. Thanks again for your leadership! I don’t know how bad this state would be without you and the other strong leaders in the GOP!
