I am forever amazed at West Virginia’s tolerance for the inane…got to love all the good things that straight party voting has brought us…political scandals, being ranked 49th or 50th is just about every major category…what more could a bunch of ignorant hill folk ask for…a return to prohibtiion so our moonshine industry can get kick started?…wake up West Virginia - isn’t 70+ years of dysfunction enough?

Gee, wouldn’t it be nice to have a two-party electoral system in WV? If we did, politicians running as judges might actually try to be more ethical and keep their noses clean. Maynard believed he was politically invincible, and he may still be given the mentality of the majority of WV voters.

Alas, most WVians want their taxes kept high, business investment in the state low, and policy made from a class-warfare perspective. So, they vote for Democrats.

By the way, I hear & read all these folks who say they’ll never vote for Rockefeller again since he endorsed Obama. Uh-huh. I’ll believe them when Rockefeller loses in November.

How much did the woman get paid to turn over those photos to Karlin?

You would think Spike would have been smart enough to take someone he trusted to Europe. Obviously, someone needs to start asking questions to this woman who turned over the photos. Did she get paid to do so? If so, how much and by who?

My guess is she approached Karlin with the photos, the trial lawyers assn poneyed up some cool cash, called Starcher and Ketchum to let them know.

The other question is what did Starcher fax to Karlin? Why is a Supreme Court justice faxing the head of the trial lawyers from his state fax machine?

Jim, then you probably also believe that it was purely a coincidence that spike and blankenship met in europe and ony talked about childhood memories. If anything, we need non-partisan elections of judges and justices, do you trust the people who would appoint the judiciary? Not me….

If you believe Larry Starcher is innocent and Menis Ketchum had no knowledge of the photographs before they became public, you probably also believe Mike Garrison didn’t know what Craig Walker and Alex Macia were doing in their meeting with Gerald Lang, Steven Sears, et al., and that the otherwise omnipotent Joe Manchin only knows about Heathergate, what he reads in the newspapers.
