Chairman Steele Addresses WV YR’s
YR’s Accept Challange
Charleston, WV – RNC Chairman Friday night spoke to nearly 250 Republicans and in his remarks he addressed the WV Young Republicans to take action.
“We are determined not to live in the past, but to look forward to a prosperous future,” said Kevin Noe, National Committeeman for the WV YR, “It’s time we stand up, with a clear voice and let our state leaders know that we are going to take charge of our state’s future. Realizing that the status quo is no longer acceptable in West Virginia, the Young Republicans are prepared to bring much needed change to Mountain State government.”
The Young Republicans are prepared to lead the way into next year’s election to let the voters of WV know where their representatives stand on key issues.
“We have representatives in Charleston and Washington that are not working for the people of West Virginia, and it’s time we let them know we are not happy with them. It’s time to tell them that the radical Cap and Trade laws will kill West Virginia’s coal industry. It’s time we stand up and let them know that we support the sanctity of life and traditional marriage.
“It’s time that we start making our voice heard. This is our state and our nation, we need to start acting like it and get involved,” added Noe.

Not to be a jerk, but if Lisa is going to release a press release about an event that happened last Friday, perhaps she should release it the next day, not nearly half a week later.
This sounds like another case of Michael Steele telling his audience what he thought they wanted to hear. If it had been the NAACP, he’d have been shouting his support of Affirmative Action. His stand on abortion also seems to vary depending upon who he’s talking to.
This man is a RINO, and does not belong at the head of our party.
I’m w/ Steven on this one… little late isn’t it? Also, is there a power struggle going on here? Just yesterday a press release went out with Kevin Noe talking about the same thing. If the YRs want to be effective, they should have ONE spokesperson… not three.
Today we hear that Mr Steele wants us to lighten up on Judge Sotomayor. He doesn’t want us to call it like it is: She’s a racist who believes in Affirmative Action.
Below is a copy of my email to Chairman Steele today:
Let’s see. Bush did the compassionate conservative routine. The GOP Congress spent money like drunk sailors. Bush and McCain pushed for amnesty. The GOP nominated a mushy moderate in 2008.
And we’ve gotten skinned in the last two elections when doing the RINO tango.
Yet somehow, we should do more of the same to start winning again.
** head scratch **
RINOs have assumed the ultimate trait of liberals - that the solution to failure is to do even more of what led to failure in the hopes that if you do enough of it, it will finally succeed. Yet conservatives are the idiots for saying the party should run with what won in the past…

Mr Steele you, along with Judge Sotomayor, are a racist by definition. You both believe in Affirmative Action. That means you want to be able to legally discriminate against me….and I really take that personal. RESIGN NOW.
